ATLAS 2.5M X 1.5M ALUMINIUM ROOF LANTERN

We had a very large Atlas 5m by 2m. Team at Lumina were very helpful and a great price, delivery on time, fairly straight forward to install and looks great. Design of the Atlas is very contemporary and a slim light weight frame maximises the glazed area and looks so much better. I had considered other aluminium and also uPVC options. uPVC was much cheaper, however design and finish were not a patch on the Atlas design. To be fair when I first started looking Lumina came up again and again on web search and their photos really helped my thinking about my whole project. I attended a couple of trade shows and also looked at several other systems and designs, but Lumina still came out tops on design and on price. Would happily recommend them

After much research we decided to purchase a 5 x 2.5 m Atlas roof lantern from Lumina Design for an extension. Lumina were very professional and processed the order quickly. Having trawled the internet for ages I decided to phone and ask a few questions. The friendly and professional response to my questions made me feel at ease that I was dealing with a reputable company. So I placed an order for a 3M x 2M Atlas Aluminium Lantern. Lantern was delivered on time and the next day after a check of the parts and a look at the instructions 2 enthusiastic DIYers set about the installation. So what can I say about this Lantern. What a Brilliant Product! A couple of minor hiccups on the way but we fitted it in the day. Done and Dusted. Excellent customer service received from Justin. Purchased two Atlas roof lanterns, one of them was 6m x 3m black/black. Both look stunning. Rang Justin several times for advice, several months before purchases were made. Very knowledgable and no hard sell. Builder reported products were extremely well made and very easy to fit. ATLAS 3M X 1.5M ROOF LANTERN

We had white Lumina 2.5m bi-fold doors fitted about 15 months ago, when we opened up our kitchen and dining room. They are so neat, draught free and easy to operate, and have transformed our living space in that part of the house. When they are open it really brings the garden into the house, so we have no need to consider having a conservatory. Ordering them was straightforward, they were delivered on time and fitted easily by our builder (who had recommended them to us after he had fitted some for a previous customer). We had double concertina blinds fitted into each panel, and they look great too. We can definitely recommend Lumina products and service. Thank you! (I will email some photos separately)

I purchased this roof lantern through Lumina Designs just over a year ago. I was recommended this firm by a Joiner who used them. One year on the lantern still looks as good as new and does exactly as was described. It provides a wonderful amount of light to my extension and also looks extremely attractive. Very well made and looks very smart. Takes about 3hrs to install with 2 helpers. Online video was the main way to review installation. Very warm in winter and no condensation. Would buy again maybe go for the largest one next time great value for money.

Purchesed a black 4 by 2 at the end of last summer. Visited their base to view samples before hand. Justin was really helpful and gave lots of good advice and was also available to advise builder on the surrounding roof structure. Very well priced. No hard sell. Lantern arrived on time, complete with no issues. First one fitted by builder (with experience of PVC lanterns). Again no issues - took a little time to figure out how it all slotted together but after that all plain sailing, done in a day. Looks fantastic, worth the extra over PVC and actually better value than a lot of other companies PVC quotes. Company and product highly recommended. Will post pics on the facebook page.

ATLAS 4M X 2M ALUMINIUM ROOF LANTERN

The lantern roof arrived very carefully packed and all the items checked to make sure we had everything. The assembly instructions were clear and when our extension roof was ready, myself, the builder and his carpenter assembled the whole lantern in a couple of hours. The only tricky bit was making sure we were careful carrying the glass panels up the ladder. The glass panels were marked ‘This side up’ and fitted perfectly. Watertight integrity was assured by the well fitted sealing strips. The price for this non standard design was very competitive and the lantern provides a splendid focal point for our Georgian orangery extension as well as providing much enhanced lighting during daylight. Heat loss is negligible. Lumina Design went out of their way to provide advice on design of the structure.

ATLAS 3M X 1.5M ROOF LANTERN 8 PANE VERSION

This is just a thank you for your help last September on supplying our Atlas lantern,(3 x 2 metres). I contacted you by phone several times for advice on installation, and you were extremely helpful. Your tip about applying soapy water to the adhesive tape to enable the glass to be aligned was a life saver. Without that knowledge, the glass could have ended up miles out. I did give up thoughts of putting all the glass in myself and enlisted a tall friend with long arms and my mini tower. Scary stuff but it all went in perfectly. So glad we opted for the neutral tint self-cleaning glass. We have seen a blue tint in a restaurant near us and my wife refuses to eat there as the colour tint puts her off the food. The neutral tint is perfect and does not darken the room. During glass fitting, I could feel the big difference on my face between sun directly landing on me and also with the glass in the way. Remarkable difference. Also, the self-cleaning really does work to my great surprise. I have recommended Lumina to friends as everybody comments on the lantern when they enter. I'm very happy with our new lantern: the quality and appearance are excellent and I especially like the black aluminum external frame which looks tasteful to our neighbours. The service from Lumina was exemplary, with helpful staff and reliable delivery etc. Also very reassuring after sales service including the offer to help out if glass etc became damaged in fitting (luckily we didn't need to take advantage of this). Lumina lanterns don't seem to be the cheapest you can buy, but my pre-purchase research and now my experience suggest that they are well worth paying a little extra for. You have the lantern for life, after all.

We are a builder in the Maidenhead area. Well in trouble as Lantern we ordered from somewhere else was ugly and plastic. We called Lumina who reacted very quickly with quote and got delivered within two weeks.
